What the public record says

Greece now has a domicile-limited domestic court-preauthorization route. The applicant must be a woman domiciled in Greece who proves a medical inability to carry; inability based only on sex is excluded. The carrier must also be domiciled in Greece, use no own egg, satisfy current health and Authority criteria, and join an altruistic written agreement. Transfer may occur only after the court decision is irrevocable. Article 1464 then presumes the authorized intended woman to be the legal mother at birth, subject to case-specific spouse or partner and registry treatment.
